Houdini’s Suitcase

Explore the fictional life of Joshka Malouth,
a one-time apprentice to the great Harry Houdini.

Created in 2006 with the support of the Arts Council and Co-produced with Nordland Visual Theatre, Houdini's Suitcase explores the life of an old time entertainer reflecting on his past as a one-time apprentice of the great Harry Houdini. The show toured extensively in the UK, Norway and Brazil from 2006 - 2009 and won first prize at the Belo Horizonte Puppet Festival in Brazil on 2007. It was the first co-production with Nordland Visual Theatre and paved the way for many years creating and touring shows in Norway.
